I submitted an order shortly after 6 pm this evening, I even paid the extra fee for "Express" delivery, and my dasher arrived at the KFC promptly. Practically within minutes! After about 30 minutes of my dasher sitting there and my order status stating that my dasher was waiting to receive my order, I reached out via message, and my order had not been presented yet. I wait about ten minutes, I then call the restaurant. I spoke with a woman who took my name and said she would check the status of my order, when she got back on the phone she stated that my order had already been received and that my dasher left with it a few minutes earlier. I get off the phone and see a message from my dasher that they were in fact still waiting for my order, so I was lied to on the phone. Then I'd say another 30 minutes go by, I'm talking to my dasher apologizing for the long wait and thanking them for being so patient and kind, they've tried saying something to employees but they're all acting like they have no clue and it's not their job to figure it out, so I added to my dashers tip and again apologized for my order at this place turning into such a time consuming mess , and proceeded to call the restaurant once again. A different woman answers this time, I tell her the situation and explain that I'm confused because her coworker told me previously that my order was picked up and on its way, however my dasher is still there, with live gps to prove it, stating they haven't gotten anything yet. She takes my name and my dashers name and goes to all the employees while we're on the phone, everyone denies even making the order or taking it, then she calls out for my dashers name and, who is in the front area waiting on my order, confirms that they're waiting for my DoorDash, checks the computer and sees the order has been in the system for 74 minutes, yells at her employees, then just addresses me on the phone and says "I'm sorry" and hangs up on me. Then I'm suddenly getting a message from my dasher that they finally have my order and they're on their way and I get the appropriate updates from the app. I called customer service to formally complain about how unprofessional the staff was and how long I and my dasher got stuck waiting on my order, and made sure to praise my dasher and let them know I was extremely happy with my dasher and their patience and kindness and great communication. My order finally arrives 20 minutes or so later. I get my babies (1 & 3) who have been ready to eat for almost two hours at this point, open our meals, I got the buy one get one 3 pc. Chicken Big Box, each comes with two sides and a drink, along with two thighs and a drum. I received one set of sides, and only one thigh and one drum in each one. My girls dinners were the 5 pc. Nuggets Kids Meal, one had four nuggets, the other only had three, they did get their one side and capri sun juice. I also got their 10 pc. Pie Poppers for a treat/dessert for after dinner, and not a huge deal, but there were only eight pieces. (They are pretty good though!) Overall, I am just beyond frustrated with this experience and I've never been treated the way they treated me. Then to rush and just throw it together, just to get it out, without making sure I actually at the least get the amount of food that I paid for, it was just ridiculous. I'm never one to complain. Usually I shrug it off and deal with it because it's not a big deal. But this is the worst experience I've ever had with any form of food delivery in my life. 10/10 would not recommend. Don't waste your money at this KFC location. They obviously either don't care, or have a huge lack of proper training, and you'll wait forever only to find out in the end you didn't even get what you paid for.
