It’s been a long time since I’ve had chicken biryani with fluffy, separate grains of rice and such a rich aroma of spices. Instead of small chunks of chicken, they used a whole cooked chicken leg in the rice. Personally, I prefer smaller pieces of chicken cooked together with the rice, as they absorb the flavors better. The Tabouli was fresh, tasty, and just citrusy enough. The chicken shwarma is a good portion and very well seasoned. I think they complement each other well here.
I'll try and add braised lamb next time too. The hot sauce (piri piri type) is very good too. It's not spicy to the point you can't appreciate the taste, but has a slight lovely kick to it and very flavorful.
