"I requested no ice with the sweet tea, but ice was added. I have sensitive teeth so ice can cause some discomfort for me. I will say, it was still a very good tea.
The 'caniac' meal was missing the cole slaw. The chicken breading was soggy and the chicken itself was a bit dry. It seemed most of the flavor came from the 'Cane Sauce', which was an ok sauce but nothing fantastic.
Fries were properly salted but very soggy. That was slightly disappointing, I'm a crinkle cut person.
The toast that came with the meal was very good. It had a nice flavor and was a thick piece of toast. It was slightly on the soggy side also but, I popped it in the toaster for a few minutes and it came back to life.
Hindsight being 20/20, I think to combat the sogginess in the chicken and fries, I'd recommend popping the meal onto a baking sheet and heating it in the oven for like 5 to 10 minutes.
Portion sizes were fantastic, just enough to leave you feeling full but not overly stuffed."

I've had the shrimp over rice, and the gyro 24. Gyro Over Rice, with combination of chicken and lamb.
It was phenomenal! Everything was cooked perfectly, the rice wasn't sticky or chewy but exactly the way it should be. Flavor was excellent.
If you've had lamb, you know it can be hit or miss. Not here. Every time I have had it (several times) it's melted in my mouth. The spices are well balanced, delicious but don't overpower it.

"It has been awhile since I last ordered from here. Today, I ordered the Stuffed Peppers, the " Breakwich " Breakfast Sandwich & a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. The food across the Board was very Good. The Breakfast Sandwich was Scrapple & Over Easy Eggs on White Toast with Potatoes. It was delicious & the Eggs perfectly done. The Chicken Noodle Soup was equally very Good & tasted homemade. The Stuffed Peppers were excellent along with the Baked Potato which completed Comfort Food at its best."

The Chicken Salad & Fresh Fruit was disappointing. Small scoop of chicken salad, huge amounts of fruit. The chicken salad was rather dry and not very flavorful. While the grapes, strawberries, and pineapple were good, the cantaloupe and honeydew slices were very hard and unripe. The sweet bread that accompanied the salad was tasty."

"I ordered the Chicken Sandwich & the Mashed Potatoes with Gravy. The Chicken on the Sandwich is tender as described; however, this is the thinnest Chicken Patty I have ever seen. It is so thin that with every bite, it is hard to discern the Chicken from the breading. It would be more appropriately called the Breading & Chicken Sandwich. There was a slice of tomato but again; it was so thinly sliced that U could read an underlying newspaper through it. The Mashed Potatoes were just OK. My Gold Standard for Chicken Sandwiches is Chick-Fil-A & this is no way even close in comparison except in price.
