The vindaloo was absolutely delicious, the portions were very generous for the price and it came with rice (which not all indian restaurants include with the main dish). You could easily get two servings or more out of one of their mains.

I have tried almost all of the chicken curries at this restaurant and I can confidently say that this is as close as it gets to authentic Indian food than any other restaurant in DC. Amazing taste, with unique blend of spices for each curry dish. Just tried kadhai chicken and was pleasantly surprised again!

Second time ordering from Rajaji. This time we went for things we hadn't tried before anywhere: Gosht Biryani (lamp and rice), Palak Paneer, Murgh Tikka (chicken grilled), and Garlic Naan (well, we had tried this before). Everything was fantastic: the biryani was flavorful but not too hot, palak paneer smooth and savory, perfect garlic naan, and the murgh tikka delicious. Honestly, we had to force ourselves to NOT eat the whole order (which was probably 25% more food than we needed). Can't wait to order here again.

So nice, I had to review it twice. Having lived in the DMV for most of my life, this is one of my favorite places to eat. They not only make quality food at a good price, they also work to meet the needs of the consumer. If you are low-carb, they will provide you alternatives if you ask. Definitely a worthwhile place to vote with your dollar.
