Got the fish plate with catfish, potato salad and baked beans. The beans were great, not too sweet like some canned varieties and had brisket in them. The potato salad was also great, they sprinkle it with paprika and it's not super mustardy. The best part though, was the catfish. Its fried, but not ridiculously salty. The flavor is so savory (especially if you squeeze a little bit of lemon juice over it). There was a little bit of spice, but it was hardly even noticeable and that little kick complemented the flavor so well. It was arguably the best fried catfish I've ever eaten.

I always order the Fish Plate. Love the very well seasoned fried Catfish w/Lemon. The Collard greens are delicious. I prefer dill in my potato salad, but it was still good. Just couldn't eat it all due to the sweetness. It's not that sweet though. The 5-Piece Combo with the delicious hot fresh crispy wings were awesome with the MacNCheese.

Nice presentation.
The mac was a bit salt - definitely needed something to balance that
The potato salad wasn't bad - tasted slightly bland with a hint too much of vinegar
The cornbread had great flavor, a bit dry though.
The fish, perfect crunch. Could use a bit more flavor/seasoning - but satisfying nonetheless.

I've eaten here a few times before, but this time when I went, my brisket was very fatty. I was very disappointed and did not eat it. Also, the cornbread pieces are super small. I always try to support small businesses, but I probably won't order from here again.

This was my first time ordering from this establishment, and I must say that it did not disappoint!! I ordered the fish plate with swai, mac and cheese, and collard greens and it came with two pieces of cornbread, and everything on that plate was hot and fresh! The portion sizes were good and the food did not lack flavor at all! The mac and cheese had an unusual taste due to the seasoning used in it, but it was delicious!! I will be ordering from here again, and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some really good food at a reasonable price.
