Best Mexican restaurant in Pikeville!! Food is always fresh and they have the best shrimp in town. Their salsa and cheese dip is way better than any of the other places I've tried. I highly recommend eating from El Picante if you are wanting authentic Mexican cuisine. It's top notch and the staff is amazing!!

The 117. Pollo Bandido was absolutely delicious on its own but even more so after I mixed in the 7. Chorizo Dip. 10/10 will absolutely order again.

As always the food was amazing, I ordered the 70. One Beef Taco, Two Beef Enchiladas and Mexican Rice and the 8. Spicy Wings and 25. Tostada or Chalupa and specified Chalupa but they sent a Tostada, not what I ordered but still tasty nonetheless but for that reason I'd say 9/10.

El Picante may have got hit by the floods.. but they came back fast and hard. The hardshell chcken tacos are amazing. I ate the same meal 2 days in a row . Im a chef myself n the food was really good. Hardshell crispy for takeout. The chicken was flavorful. Lettuce cheese tomato. It hits. Try it it hits! Everything w really good. It made me eat there 2 days in a row. The 20. Beef or Chicken Taco chicken tacos. Fantastic.

Normally, I love this restaurant. Today, I was very disappointed. I ordered the 106. Papitas Mexicanas which is my standard. It is supposed to be covered in cheese. The cheese makes the dish. Today's order barely had a spoonful of cheese and the french fries were overcooked. It was so dry. I'm hoping it was a one off.
