This is my first time trying African Cuisine and I will say 10/10 recommend!!
I’m so glad I chose Juneteenth to try African food!
The Ogbono is so good! It is very spicy, idk if it comes that way. I will try to get regular next time. I thought it was completely vegetable, I had beef or stew meat - it was tender.
The pounded yam goes well with it, it reminds me of a ball of instant mashed potatoes. It helps with the spice.
The Moi-Moi is good! I might eat it for breakfast. The texture is smooth and solid. Its similar to tamale.
The Suya was a little tough. The purple sliced onions were really good and spicy as well.
The meat pie was good! I got chicken, it was flavorful. I was expecting the chicken to have more juice to it.
Overall each item was full of flavor and spices. I will reorder this again along with a dessert!! I think this is a great place for a first timer! If you have never tried African cuisine, be open minded and give it a try!

Egusi soup was good, a little spicy. Biggest con was the smell. I almost thought my food was bad but it tasted like egusi should. It was the most affordable option i could find so i figured I'd try it anyway. Not sure what kind of meat was in there, I think beef? but it was tender and flavorful. Good soup but the smell is rancid, not like any other egusi I've ever had before.

Amazing food all around. The Egusi soup and Nkwobi I've tried are fantastic, tasty and flavorsome. Food always hot. Packaging and presentation for me is key. Great job!

For the price I was expecting better portions especially with the actual cassava leaf. It was more rice than anything. I opted for chicken and received two chicken drums that were both well over cooked and tough in most areas so I was unable to eat most of it. It did arrive hot and the flavor was good. of
