This bakery's scones are my new love. The Blueberry Blackberry Scone is delicious with a tender, delicate crumb and the light sprinkling of baker's sugar adds the perfect hint of sweetness. The Toffee Almond Scone is a marvel - rich and so flavorful. The chocolate drizzle ties it all together. I recommend toasting the scones in an oven or toaster oven (I do 350° for ~10 minutes) - I find that really brings the flavors to their peak deliciousness. The only con is that I wish they were less expensive as $6/scone is spendy, but once I'm eating one, I forget all about that part. Try one, you won't regret it!

This review is specifically about the Orange Chocolate Ganache Scone. It's very tasty with a light flakey crumb. The orange flavor is there, but not overwhelming. The only one I'm missing is the addition of nuts - for example, crushed hazelnuts would really push this scone over the edge into brilliance.
As far as Insomnia Coffee goes -it's just a great place with incredibly kind, thoughtful, and considerate employees. The Blueberry Blackberry Scone is a breakfast staple for me. So tasty.

I really love the scones from this place. The Blueberry Blackberry Scone is so delicious. My only complaint is that, for $6 each, I would expect it to be larger - more like the size of the Toffee Almond Scone. Aside from that, the scones are near perfection.

The Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake (Gluten Free)is absolutely spectacular! You would never know it's gluten free. I don't have problems with gluten, but it doesn't matter - I would choose this coffee cake over any others. It's definitely worth a try!

I've ordered this Biscuit Sandwich three times and have asked for honey all three times and have received hot sauce all three times. I'm wondering if they think it's weird and that's why they always give me hot sauce. Anyways, the sandwich is good, but my issue with it is that there is so much biscuit. Like a 3:1 ratio of carbs to fillings. I can't even get my mouth around the whole thing to take a bite. If you're carbo loading, go for it! The Blended Matcha with lavender is still hands down, the best matcha I've ever had.
