I turned to Mehfil while Andaaz was closed, but my last dishes from Mehfil were literally half the size of the ones Andaaz served me yesterday, same price. They were much more delicious, too. And this is the only place that serves Onion Bhajia (V, GF) which I love. Everything was wonderful. And to soy intolerant lovers of general tso's, the Gobi Manchurian (V) is similar, and excellent.

I love this place (especially when I am able to go in person). The food is so good - I have never ordered something I didnt like. They have a great cocktail menu in person as well. However, I went with 4 stars instead of 5 bc the prices are higher and portions are smaller when ordering through doordash. I understand the cost of to go containers factors in but even with that in mind, I still felt I didnt receive the portions we should have for the prices we paid. I will definitely eat here again but I probably wont order it through doordash again. If you feel like balling out and money isnt an object for you though - go for it because the food is truly delicious.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Asheville, but tonight they dropped the ball. No Lamb available, no Naan delivered, 1 portion of rice for 2 curries, and worst of all the curries were stretched with water (makes since given they were also out of lamb) - see picture. If you don't have the ingredients to make it as usual, please close down until you are replenished!
