*Jollof rice is extremely spicy🥵 compared to Thai hot
*Boneless chicken is seasoned well, smoky, and flavorful. The mustard sauce is drizzled on top not fully coating the chicken like I assumed. Still tasty
*Truffle oil greens for $1 upcharge the portion is very small, maybe the amount of a 2oz souffle cup if that. I can't identify the deep colored vegetable in the greens or the white garnish on top.
Overall a good tasting savory plate but the portion size for $23 is skimpy its more rice than anything... thank goodness for a promo code!

First time trying Yum Village and I genuinely was impressed. I ordered the Rasta Pasta and it did not disappoint. If you don't know what it is, it's penne pasta tossed in a creamy, spicy jerk sauce and served with grilled jerk chicken and sweet plantains on the side. It’s like a Caribbean twist on spicy Alfredo and pretty flavorful with a real kick, but balanced perfectly. The chicken had a decent char and was seasoned well, and the plantains were sweet and tied it all together. The portion size was actually more than I expected because the picture didn't do it justice. If you like bold flavors and spicy food this is a must-try. Would definitely order again.

had the rasta pasta & truffle oil greens it was fresh moist flavorful I definitely would order again & the portion was just enough i tried carribean spice it was nasty .. if it ain't yum village I wont order

The menu has significantly changed since I visited. I actually called the owner thinking I wanted to modify my order to get more plantains than rice. But I actually realized what I needed to order was a Chicken bowl with Plantains....the Big one. Bingo! It was more than enough food for two days at a fantastic price. The way they season the food makes it absolutely delicious.

Love yaw but what happened to the portions???? My chicken barely has meat and its the same size as the mini waffle! And i get that i got a small rasta pasta but its soo tiny for $12 and is still bigger than the Suya Fried Chicken & Waffles for $18.50
The food was good as always but this the second time so im guess its a change
