I got the delivery and was so excited - the quantity of the Chicken Karaage is plenty for two. It's not crispy but has a lovely smooth texture and is so tasty. The Avocado roll was gone in seconds, really well wrapped and the Shrimp Tempura Roll was good too - would definitely order again!

Let me tell you...I'm a glutton with sushi, I've tried all over the place. Hasumi is by far the best combination of quality and items you will find. The flaming dragon is a smoky and spicy palate with ample portions. I'd always order the katsu or any item tbh again.

The fish is so fresh and well-cut. The Ikura always tastes fresh whereas many other restaurants this nigiri taste is inconsistent. Overall, it's really the quality of the fish that is so great. Also, they have the Salmon Lover that is not spicy and contains cream cheese and melts in your mouth. They have never made a mistake with an order. And it's my go to comfort food.

The hand rolled shrimp tempura roll was more like deep fried shrimp (not tempura).
The chicken teriyaki was a good sized portion, nice grilled taste and very flavorful but not overpowered teriyaki.

I was disappointed after reading all the good reviews. The dragon roll and miso soup were delivered in a small bag with the miso soup on its side. Some of the soup leaked out and wet the bottom of the bag and napkins. The dragon roll was good but not great. The presentation (by putting it in such a small box) was not appetizing. The unagi tasted oily but was edible. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.
