My wife loves the steak Maui and I noticed the meat cut of the STEAK 'N' FRIES has notably improved since the height of the pandemic, but prices are pretty high. $8.50 for a baked potato...? Ouch definitely consistently good though

The shrimp were a little larger than my thumb. The baked potato was not prepared. In service at J.Alexander is wonderful. Extremely disappointed in delivery of food today. It is usually very good.

The not your ordinary mac and cheese was soo good. It's so creamy, and the bread crumbs make it 10x better. The only thing that bothered me was the girl doing carryout. They didn't put silverware in the bag so I asked her for some and she looked at me and rolled her eyes which I didn't appriciate. But other than that food was great.

Chocolate cake had crunchy edges, signifying it was not fresh, and it tasted like it had been stored with other food which have strong taste profiles, thus allowing taste transfer. Also, the Cypress salad had much less than the usual amount of chicken. I'm rarely disappointed by J's, but this was essentially "a miss."
