The food is remarkable. It's hot, full of flavor and enough for two meals (for me). The fried pork chops are tender exactly the right amount of seasoning. The okra is perfect and the fried green tomatoes hit the spot. It's hard to find restaurants that cook like this. I love it.

Rib Tip Sandwich was very tender
Oxtail Dinner could have been more tender and more than 5 oxtails for 30 bucks
Lemonade and cornbread are delecious as always

I only ordered the sides but the Yams & Macaroni and Cheese were FIRE!! I literally ordered the same thing from a "soul food" restaurant just in case these weren't hitting but they knocked it out the park! For Indy soul food sides... this is a good spot! Nice portion size for the price too!

Everything was fantastic. There was plenty of food even had leftovers. I would definitely order again. The meatloaf was delicious. My husband had neck bones which enjoyed and we ordered a side of oxtails. I had mixed greens and macaroni and cheese. He had cabbage and collard greens. We ordered candied yams 2 for the price of one and peach cobbler 2 for the price of one and of course we had cornbread. We had a great Sunday dinner that I didn't have to cook.

The baked chicken was so good! Honestly everything was 10/10. The mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing from their Thanksgiving special. Yams were perfectly cooked with the right amount of sweetness. There was a mixup with my initial order through DoorDash but the staff was so amazingly helpful. They fixed my order right away!
