• 9/4/23I'm new to Houston and this was one of my very first restaurants that I tried. This place is very tasty! I recommend placing your order in advance with Doordash for pickup or delivery for faster service. I tried La Milanesa and it was delicous! Scrumptious with lots of filling yet thin and not heavy! It was so good that I ordered it 3 times in one week! I have to say, the last order I was a bit disappointed because there was a cross contaminate in my milanesa- it felt like a tiny piece of plastic or a piece of cardboard- this is why I rated this place 4 stars and not 5 stars. Other than that, I tried the Orchata, Sandia, and Tamarindo fresh waters and they are amazing! Fresh and authentic! The Yellow corn is delicous! The white corn- not so much. I also tried the cookies n cream icecream and I have to say IT IS ONE OF THE BEST ICE CREAMS THAT I HAVE TRIED! Better than "La Michoacana " ice creams shops where I used to buy from in Fl

• 8/2/24Will not be returning here anymore. The lady with the blonde hair-nice eyes- has an attitude problem and greets you very distasteful and is reflected in her poor job (I am not the only one who thinks that, my family also thinks she's unfriendly). I ordered 2 Large icecreams and she gave me uneven scoops in each icecream, one had less than the other. The ice cream was disappointing- it tasted old, there was ice crystals and it was crunchy and smelled like a freezer- terrible- just go to Walgreens next door and get yourself a $6 haagen dazs pint. I can't belive the owner hasn't noticed this- he is actually very friendly and greets everyone who enters and leaves.
