• 13/2/25This was my second visit to Cafe Noir, and once again, the food did not disappoint. The ingredients are fresh, well seasoned, and full of flavor. The Jambalaya and Grains in Purgatory have a bit of heat, so if you’re sensitive to spice, keep that in mind. However, for those who enjoy a little kick, the spice level is just right.

• 1/2/26Love this place with all my heart. Every one of their dishes knocks it out of the park. I went through ordering every one of their dinner dishes at one point and every one was incredible. And breakfast is of course, amazing. Absolutely the best shrimp and grits in the entire Bay Area.

• 9/1/26The jerk salmon is so flavorful! Great cook and char on the fish that isn't overpowering at and adds to the flavor of it. And you can tell it's fresh! With the mango salsa and coconut rice it's an amazing dish and great portion too.Would love to see what else they add to the menu over time, and will definitely order the jerk salmon many more times. Plus their Sorrel is so good and balanced too, sweet but not overt and great spice from the cinnamon. Love a black owned business!

• 15/2/26You're essentially paying three dollars per piece of bacon, while the flavor is good it's not worth the value.
The grits are good, there is more than enough flavor and andouille sausage and shrimp topping for the value to be enough and it's really delicious so I would recommend it. It seemed very fresh and well-made. The ginger is also really good. It's not fizzy, but you still get that ginger and lemon flavor that you're craving.

• 27/12/25Hands down some of the absolute best country potatoes and eggs I have ever tasted! The Country Potatoes are perfectly seasoned, and the Eggs (2) go perfectly alongside them. Add some ketchup on the side and it's a combo that will never disappoint
