• 8/4/25Seafood Gumbo was good. It had a dark roux and actual pieces of crab left w/ shell on inside of it. It was tasty but not authentic Louisiana style gumbo. But hell, we're in Peoria so 5 stars for even attempting. However, it's extremely pricy! 2 large portions that may feed 2 or 3 people is gonna run you over $60 and it's unfortunate but you only get a very minute amount of rice on the side. The Catfish Nuggets are ALWAYS legit. A pound can feed all 3 of my teenagers easy! It's one of their favorite seafood meals. However, make sure you check the bag ..JJ's has a huge issue with giving sauces (tartar, ketchup, hot sauce) so make sure you're straight before you leave the facilities. But I can't lie ...still the BEST SEAFOOD JOINT in Peoria. Fresh on top of flavor on top of deliciousness. Go get sum....asap

• 12/8/25absolutely delicious.Seafood Gumbo Fried Pickles were both awesome. and there was like an entire crab inthe Gumbo. though it was awesome, it made it a little more difficult to eat without getting messy

• 16/12/24Catfish Nuggetsare me and hubby go to meal. Hot and ready. Fried crispy hard but not like rocks. And they never have that slimy fish oil skin on them. 10/10 would recommend

• 17/10/23I left a part out of my last review. I ordered the $80 worth of fish and only got a soda. I thought I was ordering from university. I wasn't. It was Knoxville. Burnt chicken and invisible fish was delivered to my house.
University JJ's is cheaper and way bigger and better food. Fresher and deliveries hotter.dont waste your money on Knoxville JJ's.
