Everything is always good! But this weeks special Meatball Sandwich is the BEST! My tastebuds were so happy! I am a meatball lover and I thought they all pretty much taste the same. I was so very wrong, she put the others to shame. A must try. It's a special, so make sure you go this week! 5/21/24

The gentleman working at the bar that assisted me with getting my food was super awesome and nice. My food was fresh and hot. I've never had a problem with this restaurant it's always been top tier

Lacked the flavor most Lake Charles locals associate with Shrimp and Grits. It's nothing like Calla's or Macfarlane's shrimp and grits (both have a rich, dark sauce), albeit it does not try to be. Although they top the grits with a daring idea that is Poblano sauce, it is spiceless and saltless. It fails because it is bland. Another nitpick is that the few shrimps you receive aren't implemented with the sauce well. It's like they boiled the shrimp and cooked the sauce separately then topped the grits with the meat, which may be part of the reason why the sauce is so bland.

Received all food and tasted very good; however, for the price, the Tenderloin Skewers ended up being only eight pieces of meat without even a skewer. It felt very overpriced.
