i don't know about nassau, but hamza and medina is The Best halal chicken over rice in the suffolk area, and this coming from someone who used to live in nyc and had a lot of platters from there. this one gets very close to replicating the nyc-style flavor. i have tried all of the popular spots and this is the only one worth checking out in my opinion. can highly recommend it.

The chicken and or lamb over rice or in a gyro is always consistently good.Nice size portions always filling, salad is always fresh. I have Met the staff personally for most shifts and days and their friendliness and rapport with customers makes you eager to support the business.The experience all around is a plus. their late night hours makes it a go to when u can't decide what to eat. if u ever watch them prepare their food prior to serving portions they take time and pride with it. an area go to for years now.

The fries were super disappointing for the price and how few came in the container. Food was good enough, but I feel like the quality has gone down recently. Sad because I've always loved this place.
