A year ago this place was battling with 2002 Princes chicken. I just don't know what happened. The fries are worse, they changed the pickles, & something is different with the batter or the grease. They have also moved away from plates and now you get a hot dog holder so the portions are smaller. I'm hoping they bring the quality back to the normal standards soon.

Mac n Cheese was not available. Had to settle for fries (didn't want). Greens had good flavor they just need to cook a bit longer. Not sure if I would order again. Catfish Meal fish was fried perfectly and had good flavor. Would recommend adding additional condiments such as tarter sauce, hot sauce, onions, and a slice of bread.
Allow extra time for the order to cook as it wasn't ready when I arrived.

Hurt's provides good food, but there can be some improvement. "Mild" should actually be mild seasoning... not mouth-cracking hot! Additionally the food was incredibly over-salted, and this comes from someone who likes spicy and salty foods. If the dishes had actually been "mild" as ordered, and only half the salt used, there couldn't be a better meal.
