Food is delicious, authentic Indian taste. I have tried almost all Indian places and North India is the best. Most importantly they send food in microwave safe boxes, unlike other Indian restaurants in SF which send hot food in plastic boxes which ar not safe to put hot food, can lead to mixing of plastic in food which can lead to many health issues.

We got takeout from North India Restaurant, and it was mostly great! We enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, a tasty dish with boneless white meat in herbs, spices, and tomatoes, paired with Garlic Naan.
The best part was the Rogan Josh – a lamb curry with a rich garlic, ginger, and onion sauce made with fresh Californian lamb. It was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice.
But the Chicken Tikka Masala, even though we asked for it spicy, wasn't as flavorful as we hoped. The chicken was a bit dry, too.

This is the 2nd time we are having the same issue! There is hardly any chicken in Chicken Tikka Masala and the gravy is hella watery! Dont know if the restaurant has changed the chef or not but the dish is an abolute disaster (negative)

Their photo menu doesn't do this restaurant justice. Lived in the city almost 14 years and this is my new favorite Indian restaurant. I think they may have hired the chefs from Mehfil when it moved location for the second time. I've dined in several times but take out didjt disappoint.

The Chicken Korma was watery and oily. Not much chicken provided.
The rice said it comes with peas but it doesn't.
