Best Tonkotsu in all of Toronto. No other ramen restaurant makes pork chashu so good, makes tonkotsu soup so delicious without being greasy and uncomfortable. Okinawans just know how to cook pork.

I liked the ribs of soki soba and that's the major reason I kept returning, even when the soup base is not really my type. But this time the portion of ribs was terrible. Yes still two pieces of ribs, but the size was like half of it should have been. Imagine someone chopped the ribs into half and serve you. Not worths the price. Disappointed. Will think again if I wanna order from Tondou. If my crave is for ribs, there are plenty of alternative options out there.
Karrage is okay. Not on the plain side, there are better options. Acceptable if you wanna order for late night snacks.

I'm not a ramen expert but I really enjoyed the Tonkotsu Special. The pork seemed good quality and was a good taste and texture experience with the layered fat. Many ramen companies add bamboo shoots and I honestly hate the smell and texture of those, so I'm glad this place doesn't add bamboo shoots. I'm also not a fan of those dyed fish cakes and didn't see those either. This tasted like a high quality ramen and I'd definitely order again, maybe trying it with spicy miso or garlic oil next time, though plain as-is was delicious.

Food was cold. Very little chicken and mushrooms and way too much onions

Absolutely delicious! We highly recommend the Nanban Fried Chicken, Okinawa Soba, Spicy Tonkotsu, and the Plant-Based Tantan!
