I don't know what it is about egg yolk and bread that drives me crazy -in a good way! Ham Croissant and Eggs Benedict was flakey and toasted to perfection and each bite a marryful combination of salsas, dutch cream, and delicious runny yolk!

Every time I order from La Casa De La Abuela, I am never dissapoineted. Each dish is well portioned, fresh, and well valued. The Poblano Slices Quesadilla is a huge delight. I was afraid it might be a small quesadilla like ones you get at botanas, but no its a big decently filled quesadilla. The corn within gives a pleasant crunch and cheese is chewy with the poblano and onions. Even though it's labeled as a appetizer, I will be ordering it again as a main dish in near futures. The Enfrijoladas Enchilada was a neat experience too. I really appreciated the chorizo for being juicy yet not overly oily. The enchiladas themselves were filled with shredded chicken white meat which were also very juicy. I had never had enfrijoladas before now but Im glad I tried them. Then top it off with their salsa, omgeee, so good!

Pozole didn't taste like pozole but it was good. Caldo Tlalpeño didn't have any chipotle in it. the chicken was blended and it was mostly rice in it. it had very little cheese. It didn't taste bad but not just like Caldo Tlalpeño

The chilaquiles were literally just dry chips and some sprinkled lightly white cheese, it wasnt melted, there was no egg? Neither was there an option about adding egg. I have gone to this place in person and have order for pick up many times and Ive never received it this way.. am I just supposed to scoop mini chips with my spoon? I dont get it.
