I’ve loved Potbelly for years in KY, NC, and FL, so I know how good they can be. But the new South Florida location has gone downhill fast. Prices have gone up, portions have shrunk, and the quality just isn’t there anymore.
My usual order—Italian sub, bowl chicken pot pie soup,(which you know it's never a bowls worth more like a cup when measured) and a shake—keeps getting worse. The subs barely have any meat, the lettuce is cheap shredded iceberg, and if you go later in the day the bread is stale. The shakes were the last straw: my banana pudding shake had no Nilla wafers and tasted like powdered banana mix, and my husband’s strawberry was basically vanilla with a little purée.
I used to rave about Potbelly, but lately it’s been nothing but disappointing.

Nothing tasted fresh or made in house. The Broccoli Cheddar soup was grainy, Mac & Cheese was dry. Mama's Meatball sandwich was fine but fairly certain they were bagged meatballs. The Sugar Cookie was pretty good. Overall while the items did arrive hot and well packaged, the taste of nearly everything was a miss.

I ordered the skinny roast beef with half salad. the roast beef was the worst thing I've ever had. my dog wouldn't even eat it and my salad tasted like hospital cafeteria. I definitely do not recommend

Quality is good but they are so cheap on their amount of meat they put on their subs. 4 ounces of meat on a steak sandwich that costs 15 dollars is highway robbery. I can make better at home for way less. Don't be cheap, you will lose in the end! Good product but you're skimmping on the public!

Soggy bread but I didnt have oil & vinegar. not enough deli mustard on the Cubano but the meat itself was really good. I ordered the Chili Mac and got just Mac no chili. My friend got Turkey Breast and they didnt cut the sandwich at all but she liked it otherwise. the Chicken Pot Pie Soup she ordered was great. probably wouldn't order from here again.
