This is my favourite Thai food in the city and while I was outside the delivery range for so long, not anymore!! I do enjoy going in person (it's on 10th and you should go) but it is just as tasty being delivered. The portion size is not huge, so you'll want to order 2-3 dishes to share ideally, but that just means you get to eat more of this restaurant's incredible dishes. Splitting two dishes, rice and a small Tom Yum Goong soup with another person, I was completely satisfied and even have some left over for tomorrow~
Every dish I've had from here is distinct and delicious, but this is my first time trying the Masaman Curry and Crying Tiger ! The masaman is a rich, savoury and slightly sweet curry with hearty potatoes and whole peanuts, if you can't handle spicy you should go for this, comparable to the excellent Panang curry in terms of flavour too. The Crying tiger is a grilled beef that definitely packs a punch in the spice department, but is all the more addicting for it and the cabbage mix is a welcome accompaniment!
If you are thinking of not ordering the rice from here, you are missing out. It is a coconut delight that pairs with every dish on the menu, I tried it with the Tom Yum Goong and the masaman this time! People complain about the prices v. portion sizes but they're worth every penny imo, Thai Sa-on completely beats most of the competition in the same price range.

Really great flavour; well balanced and spicy without being too hot. The protein is of high quality, and they give a good portion.

Really enjoyed the chicken spring rolls. I thought that the pork dish was OK but my husband really liked it probably because we both have differences and spice level open to other Thai restaurants though and it's difficult because the other ones were absolutely excellent but it's not fair for me to rate these guys without having tried more dishes as I have other restaurants

I never leave reviews, but I had to after my experice with Thai Sa-On. We ordered a Pad Thai, Green Curry with coconut rice, and spring rolls. The order arrived with only Sping Rolls and the curry, no rice, no pad thai. Accidents happen, so I opted to have the missing items redelivered because the app said it would take 25 mins. It took over an hour, which is maybe more of a DoorDash issue than a restaurant issue - not sure. Anyways, second order finally shows up. It contains 1 tiny coconut rice, and another green Green Curry. Still no Pad Thai. So I can't comment on how the Pad Thai tastes. But at this point, we were starving, so we split the tiny coconut rice and tried to eat the two Green Currys. I know I was already in a bad mood, but I truly have never tasted worse Green Curry in my life. The beef was overcooked and tough, and the curry itself honestly tasted like nothing. We ate a few bites each, and the rest went in the garbage. I spent $98 on 4 spring rolls basically.
