It seems expensive, but the portions are generally big. Being close to our home. the order came hot. It was correct in all respects: Homemade Crispy Onion Topped Meatloaf was hearty with rich tasting brown gravy over all. We got a  Side of Gravy , just in case. but it wasn't really needed. Knowing I would want a dessert, the best value was to add the Cubs Chocolate Chip Pancakes . Large, hot and chocolatey. It was a good decision.

Bear Paw Chicken Fried Steak perfect size, well cooked. They skipped my vegetable side. The husband's Side of Veggies was watery and overcooked. Cubs Chocolate Chip Pancakes is a great value compared to other menu items. Side of Gravy is great to have. They forgot Add Condiments completely.

I couldn't enjoy the Shasta Scramble because it had way too many green bell peppers (bitter) with a very strong, unpleasant, prevalent aroma to my olafactory senses and completely overtook the flavor of the egg portion. The Country Potatoes were bland,  plain, no seasoning. The Sourdough Toast was not toasted with a crunch, instead it was soft.

I believe I gave this same feedback before. I will not order this again.

This was my first experience eating a breakfast meal from Black Bear Diner. Unfortunately, the pan cakes were dry, not light, fluffy, or moist. I could not even finish eating them because of their dry consistency and poor quality. What a huge disappointment and a big waste of my hard earned money for this high priced breakfast order. The eggs were decent, and the bacon was very fatty and not crispy.
