I love Winchell's donuts, but this is the second time I've ordered the assortment donuts, and all I am given is the yeast donuts, not one cake, doughnut, and no filled donuts. Can't really call it an assortment when they're all the same just different coloring of frosting.

Burnt apple fritters. Someone wasn't paying attention. Taste of the rest was mediocre. It's been a long time since I've been to Winchells, but I remember them been good. So they get 3 stars for the memories. 1 for this experience.

My family loves hot chocolate. The yummy donuts only compliment the delicious drink. I've also ordered the coffee. Well worth the price.
