The yam maki is 12/10 - sooooo good. I Order this weekly sometimes twice a week. It is so fresh and the sweet potato is nicely battered in tempura and it's always nice and warm and freshly made. Also always comes with a Miso soup and spicy mayo isn't extra you just request it in the notes. They listen well and the food is unreal. Avocado salad is also a favourite. I only use door dash for this restaurant, no other restaurant.

I ordered the Lm11. Bulgogi Donburi and Lm2. Beef Teriyaki and both had an underwhelming amount of protein in them. Items were relatively inexpensive, but I would've preferred to spend an extra $3-4 for more protein and veg, vs $15 on mostly a bed of rice. 

Lm2. Beef Teriyaki was lacking a bit in flavour, it was very bland.

We have eaten in the restaurant on numerous occasions and the food and service has always been stellar. This is our first time ordering through Door Dash and, as always, we are super impressed. The food was beautifully presented with great care and delicious. 5 stars*****

The Db1. Chicken  Teriyaki Bento and Db4. Salmon Teriyaki Bentowere amazing! This was our first time trying inJapan and we definitely will be eating here more often ! The presentation and taste of the food was so good! Hands down the best bentos in Toronto!

The A7. Kyoza (6) tasted like it was fried on oil that had already been used quite a few times. I did not finish it. Both makis Mt18. C. A. A and Mt17. Avocado & Cucumber were really disappointing, with mushy, bland, and overly cooked rice, with a slight bitter taste, and I don't think the aspargus was even that fresh. I also did not like that the aspargus was breaded. It turned a Maki that wanted to be light and fresh and turned it into something else. I'm even more saddened that the neighbouring restaurant permanently closed now.
