A romantic relationship.
When Nik and Cindy Minhas, owners of Spicy Affair Indian Cuisine in Swedesboro, NJ, arrived from Vancouver, Canada, they had a goal.
Always good and 1 entree lasts at least 2 days. Garlic Naan is fantastic and highly recommend the lentil daal. Tends to be on the spicy side so usually for us, medium is hot enough.

This is my favorite place to eat in south jersey. I introduce all my friends and family to this spot. The food is always so perfectly seasoned. Great cuts of chicken and amazing serving sizes. The naan is perfect, no matter which one you get.

Normally I love Spicy Affair and Lamb Biryaani is my favorite dish. My prior orders had all been very good, especially since the end of Covid. This time and the time before, not so much.
When I first started ordering this dish I was amazed at the amount of lamb there was. With so many restaurants you get two pieces of lamb and a plate of rice but not Spicy Affair. I could make three meals out of this and the taste was wonderful.
But the last time I ordered Lamb Biryaani I noticed there was much less lamb and much more rice. I'd say about 50% less lamb. Given how much meat had always been included with these rice dishes I was not happy but it was still reasonable.
My last order had four (4) pieces of lamb, the dish was all rice. And the rice was delicious. I love it, I love the spices and I love the taste but the dish is $26 and $26 is way too much for a bowl of rice, no matter how well seasoned the rice is.

Butter chicken was really rough? It came in really hot, meaning it wasn't the cold that made the chicken rough. The chick breaat was just dry and really big so I guess less marination could throughly absorb? The sauce was amazing.
The butter paneer was immaculate and would highly recommend.

This was my first time eating and ordering from Spicy Affar and everything was good and delicious, the Fried Onions 8 Oz was ok, and the Garlic Naan was delicious, the Goat Curry was spicy and flavorful,the Kashmir Naan - Sweet , was really good, I would order from here agin. The portions were really good for the price and everything taTed fresh as well.
