I had placed an order for dinner before going in and doing a little shopping.
I was asked how I was doing and I was asked if I needed any help and I had a little conversation with the Cracker Barrel employee about how I love the store and how I spent $30 or $40 the last time I was here.
I bought a few things and then I was able to grab my food to go and the cashier reminded me that I still had a free dessert for my birthday and asked if I wanted that to go along with my food and I told her that I had forgotten about that and that yes, I would like that.
I was given a choice of carrot cake or Coca-Cola cake or cinnamon rolls and I chose the cinnamon rolls.
once I was home and had a chance to eat my grandpa's Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast everything was delicious, especially the hash brown casserole, one of my absolute favorites!
the cinnamon rolls were very good too. very good!

• 16/7/26This is pitiful. Barely any meat, three tiny little potatoes, and three smushed carrots for $21. I guess I paid for corn. Very disappointed.

• 10/8/26bland didn't call me to say that they were out of the chicken dish I ordered. The beans were bland and not any ham in it very thick. only two corn breads that were small.

• 2/3/25This was by far the worst meal we have ever had from Cracker Barrel. The Homestyle Chicken breasts were no bigger than a regular tender .. they used to be so big you would need to take one home. When biting into the breasts, they were hard as a rock, as if they had been sitting around all afternoon; despite this, they were very chewy and rubbery inside. I ordered steak fries and carrots with mine, only to get cole slaw with actual leafs of cabbage, not shredded. The fries were adequate but cold. My wife ordered hash brown casserole, in which she said wasn't bad, though it seemed to be burnt on top. By far the worse experience we have had.

• 9/4/23Had no Easter plans with family or friends so, I ordered dinner from Cracker Barrel.
I ordered the Sunday Homestyle Chicken® (two boneless chicken breasts, hand-dipped in our special buttermilk batter, breaded and deep fried to a crispy golden brown. Plus, choice of two Country Sides (for me, Hashbrown Casserole and Mashed Potatoes w/Sawmill gravy) and served with hand-rolled Buttermilk Biscuits or Corn Muffins. I got both. With Apple Butter, as well!
CB is always good, a little less so at home but, still really good!
This particular meal was pretty good!
I got 2 HUGE pieces of chicken!
The hashbrown casserole was a bit dry and plain but, the mashed potatoes and sawmill gravy was awesome!
So was the biscuits and cornbread!
Highly recommend CB to anyone looking for a great meal!
