WOW! This is the first time I've tried the Carnitas Por Libra and it's AMAZING. So flavorful. I tried it without the salsa and thought it was so good, and then tried it with the salsa, and I cannot tell you how much I loved it. The portion is great and the tortillas are soft and plenty like I like them. I can't wait to tell other people that they have to have this place. My favorite carnitas place in all of San Diego.

Not sure if this place changed ownership but it has gone downhill since I stopped seeing the two guys and the lady. The quality of the carnitas is not the same. Was very disappointed with my order today. The cuerito was also too prickly. We couldn't eat it comfortably so we tossed the rest of it..

Hoy pedí carnitas y todo estuvo absolutamente delicioso. La comida llegó calientita y las salsas estaban llenas de sabor. Se nota la calidad y el cariño en cada bocado. ¡Muy recomendable!
I ordered carnitas today and everything was absolutely delicious! The food arrived nice and warm, and the salsas were full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care. Highly recommend!

I don't understand what happened to this place. The portions used to be on point and this does not look like 1.5lbs of Carnitas Por Libra and Media Libra de Carnitas. Super disappointed to pay what I paid. This is not right.

Hands down the best carnitas place you can find. The Chicharrón prensado por libra no combo is AMAZING!!! We tried it for the first time today after only having tried their Carnitas Por Libra before and we couldn't believe we had been missing out on it. Try it, you wont regret it (make a taco with it, with some beans). Their Jamaica is super fresh too, tastes fresh and homemade. If you have extra carnitas left over make some machaca with eggs for breakfast the next day or freeze them...they're perfect as left overs!
