I have had food from here three times and have not been disappointed. Three different entrees; the bourbon steak, shrimp and riblets. I also appreciate that they offer a small desert for a great price. The Brownie Bite is really good and just enough to satisfy.

I ordered a medium rare steak which is supposed to come with mashed potatoes and a veggie. I got a cold, well done steak and three cold pieces of broccoli, no potatoes or substitute. Waste of $25 dollars.

We ordered the 2 for $26, and I have a few concerns with this order, unfortunately.
Though the appetizer (onion rings) was a good amount and cooked well, and the bacon cheeseburger was prepared correctly, the 6oz garlic sirloin has some issues.
I don't blame Applebees for the quality of the cut of meat (there is a larger amount of fat than I would expect). However, the steak was so saturated in butter that the fries were soaked in it. This made it so a good portion of the fries were soggy. Due to this, I feel like the fries should have been packaged separately from the steak, like the french onion soup was. It makes me glad I didn't order the salad instead, as a salad would have been entirely inedible if packaged with the steak. The french onion soup was also filled very very full (which I appreciate in theory) but this made it extremely troublesome to open without making a mess.
Also, a much smaller issue, but a spoon was included for the soup, but no fork for the steak?
My other concern is the price increase. I know that Doordash orders list food at higher prices to accommodate d Doordash as a company getting paid, but with this being the case, the 2 for $26 is no longer as listed, but instead a 2 for $30. And that's if you select one of the two only entrees that do not have added fees. Though many are only $0.69 extra, in-house only a handful are "premium" entrees, most do not cost extra. The same is true for the sides - in Doordash, only 4 of the available sides (out of probably around 10-12 options) were not additional costs. Most of them were $3-4 extra. This made the 2 for $26 $40 before tip, with only one "premium" side and only one entree that cost additional fees.

Both items were absolutely horrible. Minimal boneless chicken pieces: like 3. JUST THREE! The Caesar salad was horrible. 2 shrimps and 4 chicken pieces. Wrong dressing; I hate blue cheese and that's what I got!!!! Lettuce was brown and wilted. For the price we paid I expected more, much more. The meals were thrown together. My momma had the boneless chicken and she couldn't even eat it; the taste was terrible. I am so disappointed.

I ordered a Kids Classic Cheeseburger and only received half of a cheeseburger when the menu clearly shows a full kids cheeseburger. I am very disappointed considering I've been ordering as well as going to that establishment with my children for over 10 years. Very disappointed.
