I've ordered the Barrio Box an embarrassing amount of times this past month, but today was special. The tacos were fuller than usual and balanced with the right ratio of flavors. Whoever was in the kitchen today had God guide their hands. Outstanding.

Never have I left a review as I am a pretty understanding guy. Sure I understand I could've gone and eaten in the restaurant where I could've said something rather than order online or what not but we have a 1 year old and that wasn't in the cards for these tired parents tonight. I love Barrio, go all the time, and even have friends that request going whenever they come to visit us here in Ohio. Never do we DoorDash it either but it sounded good and didn't think DoorDashing it would be any different than in person.
Tonight my order was missing two queso dips and a small salsa, no big deal ordered a refund. What got me here to review was the quality of the tacos...there was next to nothing on these tacos. Like I'm talking 6-7 1/16 of an inch sized cubes of tofu on my wife's tacos with a small dash of cheese to pair with it. Mine weren't much better with my half a teaspoon of ground beef and sprinkle of toppings.
Now i have worked in restaurants for years and no matter how busy we ever were in the kitchen, i would have never sent out something that was not up to quality and in today's society with the inflated prices on everything i expect to at least get a taco that's decently filled and not something that has a few small pieces of meat and a small sprinkle of toppings.
Skimming through the reviews, I saw pictures of tacos as weak as the ones we received tonight and only after seeing it looks to be a repetitive theme for this location did I feel a review would actually be warranted. This whole experience has me thinking I should be checking reviews more.
I'm only sorry i didn't take pictures of the other tacos but the ones here are the tofu which we had to spread the shell pretty wide to find the tofu.

Tres Amigos is a great value and you get to try a variety. The bombshell build your own taco was a 10/10. The bacon is just amazing. Chorizo is a great flavor - really juicy with a good kick. The portobello mushroom is one of my favorites. Everything is super fresh. Would order again and again. Also the packaging helped everything stay put.

Bowl Cilantro-Lime Rice was prepared beautifully so much flavor and a portion was nice, Flour Shell we're all different with a fresh ingredients in each one tasted better than the last . I will definitely order again , the tacos were my favorite lol.

Barrio Box was fun... smash burger wsvrighteith juicy tomatoes... Chipotle chiken ws super hot...would have preferred less of a burn. Nachos were tragic. please allow for a chips on the side option. so soggy. tasty, but most of the chips were a loss.
