i got the Birria Options quesadilla and a beef Empanada. the Empanada was good full of flavor and crispy it was also a pretty good size it wasn't small. the Birria quesadilla was delicious taste is amazing just if you want a little crisp to it id get the tacos instead because the quesadilla does get a little soggy from the box just overall rating 9.5

Usually the entire meal is awesome from here. The sampler was fine. I ordered a side of Cajun fries for $8basically and not only was the size so small for the price they gave us the burnt ends and broken pieces of fries overcooked brown and hard. Shame on whomever thought that was appropriate to sell.
I also left a tip unfortunately 😕

I live in the area and have tried Bitez maybe 4 times since it opened. I've tried multiple things each time and unfortunately have had more let downs than pleasant surprises.
This time, I got a burrito bowl, a carne asada torta and a traditional yaroa with crispy chicken. The burrito bowl was very good overall. The rice and pigeon peas(delicious), chicken (delicious), black beans (a little over seasoned but still good).
The carne asada torta was a little small compared to other shops in the area, the refried beans were barely noticeable on the bread, the carne asada had a nice flavor but was a little chewy and the cheese- I'm not sure what type of cheese it is but the flavor was...just not very good two bites of the sandwich was enough to confirm that. I also paid extra for avocado and it is not on the sandwich (there's a shop down the street that has a delicious torta, avocado included, reasonably priced).
The chicken on the yaroa was good. The fries were overcooked- not burnt but grease soaked. They're crispy all the way through, like a greasy potatoes chip. You can't even see white potato filling when you bite into one, just brown, crispy, grease fry. And the portion doesn't match the price. One layer of fries, cheese and a handful of chicken with a drizzle of ketchup and mayo was 2 pennies shy of $15. That seems exorbitant.
I understand the cost of things has gone up so we should expect to pay more for things. However, at the very least, the quality and the flavor of the food should match the price. $14.98 for a handful of overcooked fries with some chicken and cheese and $14.96 for a sandwich that no one wants to eat is very frustrating. We all work hard for our money, we're all impacted by rising prices of everything - no one wants to spend money on food they don't want to eat.

The ham and cheese empanada barely had anything inside I thought it was empty the loaded fries barely had any cheese on top and the Cherry Juice / Cereza wasn't even that good and it takes forever to come
