Everything from black bear is delicious. We had the Griz again and always have enough for a second time.  Great food and huge portions. One of our favorites

WOW!  Never knew how amazing this place is for burgers!  So natural, juicy, & big.  We got the California burgers & they were grilled to perfection!  I got sweet potato fries for my side & they were delicious, along the lines of a steak fry & not a dried up shoestring.  They use real vegetables with flavor - lettuce, onion & juicy tomato.  The food is good quality, & REAL.

Disappointed with the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad. Only has the equivalentof  one small chicken tender chopped up. Should be more for being over $15 for a dish thats mostly lettuce   Good thing i ordered  some extra tenders Cubs Chicken Strips 2 pcs on the side but that just added to the cost plus they forgot our sauces. The $4+ drink are less than a can of pepsi maybe 8 ounces. Not worth it.

We love Black Bear Diner and eat there all the time when we come to Phoenix. We had to DoorDash due to my husband being in the hospital and the food was subpar. My toast was burnt. My husband had hardly no meat on his Tri-Tip Dip sandwich. Very disappointing. Not sure we will order to go anymore.

The fish was rubbery and/or undercooked. It cannot be eaten. The tartar sauce was missing. The fries were also undercooked and whimsy. They were inedible. The onion rings and coleslaw were good. I have never had this poor quality from this restaurant before. Very sad and disappointed.
