I usually like Burntwood Tavern but my last order was disappointing. I was excited to try the Grouper,but was surprised to see how poorly it was cooked. It was fried hard almost burned to the point that the inside looked translucent plus it was too salty. I couldn't enjoy it at all and only ate a small portion. My husband had beef sliders which were dry and tasteless. He was able to get only one down. This was the worst experience I've had with Burntwood and perhaps the last. The cost was too much for the poor quality.

Deviled Eggs & Candied Bacon was just ok. One slice of Bacon was delicious . Eggs are tiny,whites were rubbery ,filling pretty good.
Caesar Salad with MR Steak. Steak was ordered Medium Rare. It looked like they gave me a reheated Medium Well. Char marks added before wrapped Togo. Wasn't impressed

The chicken dijon had a tasty, mild sauce. The roasted vegetables were good and plentiful. The mashed potatoes could have used some butter or other flavoring.

Tater tots were burnt and I paid extra to get them. Coleslaw didn't have any dressing on it and everything was cold and greasy.
