These were my first items & experience with Cali Rays. I had the Garlic Pesto Turkey*. The only thing I added that wasn't standard was mayo. I didn't want to get crazy with add ones before trying the baseline. It was absolutely delicious! There's sourdough bread & then there's Sourdough Bread! definitely the second one. I also had the calm New England Clam Chowder* . it was good as well & there was no grit in it that you find in some chowders. I was reluctant but decided to try their Chocolate Chunk Cookie* . some places it's a high price for a small cookie. this one wasn't that. it's a good sized cookie. I got the 4" extra sourdough 4" Extra Bread* . just FYI it came unsliced, which is a great option & I can see wanting to get some unsliced but next I'll be seeing if I can add special instructions for it to be sliced. I had to tear it which made it squished. Still good though for soup dipping.

My husband and I had the Rays Pastrami* and Turkey & Salami Sandwich* and they were the best sandwiches we have ever had! Fresh ingredients, and extremely tasty for the portion size. Would order again!

Everything I tried in this first order was very good except the warm lettuce in my sandwich which I should have realized when I was placing my toasted sandwich order. Somedays the brain doesn't connect lol. The Briccolu cheddar soup was EXCELLENT!! The flavors were well balanced and the consistency was perfection! It made my son so happy (he hasn't been able to swallow food for 2 years and is on TPN - basically eating through his veins) So took a chance and it played off big time. He was able to manage a few bites and his face lit up with joy as your soup brought him back to his younger days where he would eat 2 bowls of Marie Callendat'e Briccolu Cheddar Siup and devour the salad bar. I have tried for the last 3 years trying to accomplish this myself So couldn't achieve it. Mine was good but not like this.
Thank you for making my son joyful it had been too long.

Oh. My. God. BEST SANDWICHES EVER!!! The price was a little steep for me personally but worth every penny. The bread is fresh and delicious. I could bathe in the "Ray's Sauce". Counting down the minutes until I can order again!!

Flatbread was VERY small compared to the way it was before. Not at all worth the money. Very disappointed. I've been a customer for awhile .
