• 6/9/22I love Candlelight Diner. It's been a fixture in Commack, same family owned restaurant, for the past 50 years. I love the pasta salad. Burgers have always been awesome with homemade buns. Bakery always fresh and done on premises.

• 7/6/25The whole family really enjoyed our food this morning. The Monte Cristo's french toast was a bit under done, but they followed special instructions and got the home fries extra crispy. My mom enjoyed the Cheese Omelet, loaded with american cheese! My grandmother said the Two Eggs With Sausages was cooked perfectly, and nice and fluffy.

• 8/3/24Our food was delivered timely ..it was excellent my son commented on how good the burger was , The pasta salad was great our portions werelike the old days......LARGE--.....we have not eaten anything else as of now. looking forward to the chicken Candelight Diner has not disappointed us in all the years . I hope they will continue their great service and food.

• 31/5/25Monte Cristo was good and the Cheese Omelet was as well. A bit pricey for what you get though. I remember when the Monte Cristo had double the amount of ham and turkey.

• 9/2/24Can't say we were too impressed. We ordered three Fish & Chips in a Basket dinners. The fish was only so-so and didn't taste particularly fresh. The batter tasted old, although it might have been commercial pre-made frozen fish. I've actually had better fish at fast food restaurants. As for my fries (the other two people chose different sides), they tossed together some fresher hotter fries with stale cold chewy fries. Not an appetizing meal at all, and my stomach is trying to decide how angry to be with me. For the high price definitely not worth it.
