• 5/11/23What's to say? Very tasty, good portions, fresh, plenty of choices of ingredients, sauces, dressings, toppings to customize your meal.
I will say they're a tad pricey, but I strongly suspect that CAVA's upscale Mosaic District location is not cheap to rent or own, so they've gotta make the money to pay for it, right? My Build Your Own Pita , 2 brownies, a cookie, and a drink came in at around 32 bucks, and then the tip for the delivery driver. The result was nearly $40; so I only indulge in this treat (Greek/Mediterranean food is a big favorite of mine) once In a while; but I don't recall ever being disappointed.
Oh, one last thing: my protein for this order was falafel; so except for the feta and perhaps the garlic dressing, it was all vegetarian, and I didn't mind. I'm an omnivore, so I eat meat. But I am also fond of my veggies, and it's not odd for me to have vegetarian meals, or vegetarian days; and the falafel here is very satisfying for a guy who likes both meat and vegetables. Let me put it this way: if I didn't know that this falafel isn't meat or a meat product, I might guess that it is, at least partially. It reminds me of meatballs. Pretty good.
So yeah, I recommend CAVA, if you don't mind spending a touch extra.

• 26/2/253 stars = "good" according to Doordash. That's the best I can do. my Pita was tasty enough, but disappointingly dry, despite dressing and sauce. My protein was falafel, and the person who made my food put it all in a big bunch in the middle of the sandwich. My wife was disappointed that her Greek Chicken wasn't hot, and there was some other issue as well, that I can't remember. But she did like the flavor, and the crunch was ok. Cava used to do better than this, consistently.

• 18/4/26Yummy food but that brownie is so bad. Overpriced, super dry and even smaller

• 3/6/25Got the Build-Your-Own Pita . It was really good. I'm fond of Greek/Mediterranean food to start with, and that afternoon I had a Jones on.
The garlic sauce and Greek vinaigrette were on the side. I understand that. Makes the sandwich less messy in transport. Still, I would rather have had them ON the sandwich. Ah, well. As the Great Philosopher Mick Jagger sang, "You cain't always git whatchu wawnt."
CAVA's good stuff. I'll be back.
