• 5/4/23The Hamburger Steak was very tasty. I just wish that they would take requests, I really could've used some Heinz 57 sauce with it, and apple butter for my biscuit. I will most definitely order it again

• 13/8/25Ordered two bowls of the chicken and dumplings for delivery. It arrived safe and hot. I was SO disappointed! Between the two bowls there might have been 4 or 5 dumplings, a few pieces of carrots and one bite of chicken. The rest was gravy. This store has really been slipping lately on quality and quantity.

• 14/5/26Bought the Meatloaf dinner. Corn and loaded hashbrowns casserole was good. Meatloaf serving was pitifully small and dried out. Bottom of my cornbread had something burned into it.
We've had issues with small almost child size portions and too many times my husband has ordered gravy for different sides 'on the side' and it's missing. It's getting to be too hit or miss with CB.

• 6/3/25To be honest out of all the chicken I've ever eaten you figured it would be these 5 star gourmet restaurants that would have the best chicken, but the Crispy Tender Dippers that breading is unmatched, I would have given a full 5 star on the food, but the biscuits, two of them were hard, older, and the steak fries were cooked in older oil and they were a dark brown, other than that that chicken saved the rest of the food lol.

However Cracker Barrel was disappointing. It has really fallen off in terms of quality over the past few months.
I ordered the country fried steak, gravy in the side, green beans, loaded hashbrowns casserole, dumplings and buttermilk biscuits.
The steak was way over cooked, dried out and very tough around the edges. The dumplings were in what I would call water rather than gravy. And the corn muffins? They were the saddest flattest, rock hard corn muffins I've ever seen.
I think I'll be taking a break from Cracker Batrel for a while.
