The Pork katsu Curry Rice and the Fried Shrimp Curry Rice were delicious! I feel te portion control was a little hit or miss, as one of the two curry cotainers was less filled than the other, despite both being the same mild heat and regular size. Also, the amount of rice for the amount of curry was low. Otherwise, the food tasted great and the fried items were still crunchy despite the delivery distance.

Always my favorite in San Jose, I'd say even in the world! The portions are perfect, especially when splitting a large. I find that the katsu chicken is my go to, I've had it for years and keep coming back just for it.

The chicken karaage was just excellent. Perfectly fried and marinated/seasoned. The size was perfect, smaller bites tend to be just a clump of fried coating.
I added the veggies to both our plates: Karaage fried chicken Curry Rice and the Fried Shrimp Curry Rice. While everything about the make up of the meal was just spot on: the curry, rice... I was disappointed with the fried shrimp. It looked great but when I bit into it the batter inside was not cooked, so the bite was not clean. It was just mush. Sure I'll be back, but I won't be getting the fried shrimp again.
I added steam veggies to both meals and they were like an upgraded Bird's Eye frozen veggie. I didn't mind too much, but that's what it felt like to me. Portions overall were just perfect.
Thank you!

RICE is MISSING. The container was tear-off, and the bowl of curry (literally a “curry” soup because nothing was in there other than the sauce) was only half full. I spent $25 on this but it was really really disappointing.
