I ordered the rib tip plate for the first time today, it was absolutely delicious. the rib tips were perfect, the cabbage was seasoned very well the macaroni and cheese was good and creamy and the cornbread pretty good too.. packaging was very sustainable the food was still piping hot upon arrival!

The Meat Loaf Plate was not good. The packaging was nice. Everything was kept inside the clamshell box it was delivered in. My Bottled Sprite was inside the sealed bag so I do appreciate that. However, the meatloaf portion size is disappointing. It's the same size as the cornbread. It has a very unique taste. Very salty to me. Not a hint of sweetness the glaze usually supplies. The sauce was more like a tomato paste type of sauce than a typical brown sugar ketchup mix. Not a fan. The greens have a nice smokiness but the actual flavor isn't my preference. They honestly tasted a little burnt. The macaroni was creamy with a nicer flavor from the plate. I don't know that it is necessarily good, just the best thing on the plate. The cornbread was good but dry.
I definitely wouldn't order this again.

I have been ordering food from this place for over four years, and have 100% fantastic meals. My best is the neck bones and rice! They fill your plate, and it takes me a good two days to finish! Thank you so much for your perfect food! The alcoholic drinks are delicious, too.

EVERYTHING IS AMAZING AND FRESH!!!! The catfish was fried to perfection, the collard greens are flavorful and tender, the pinto beans are just as flavorful, the dirty rice is the right level of heat and spice, and the cornbread taste like cake!!!! 100/100

The oxtails were tasty. However, they were very small and seemed like a less than half portion. I don't mean a full order of small oxtails either. I mean a less than half order of small oxtails cut in half. Not at all like these pictures. The vegetables were mid at best. The cornbread was very sweet and dry. This was not worth $90. $32 per plate plus fees. Nope!!! I will stick with DRIVING to Madea's Down Home cooking in Everman. Too bad, I was really hoping this would be a deliverable/alternative option.
