⚠️ Be very careful with the reviews for this place. This restaurant has an unusually large number of five-star reviews and seemingly no negative reviews at all. Based on our experience today, the rating does not reflect the actual quality of the food or service. The review pattern is extremely suspicious and makes me question whether negative reviews are being removed or filtered.
We came here for breakfast because this restaurant has so many five-star reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was absolutely terrible.
First, the table where customers place their orders was extremely sticky and covered in some kind of residue. My hands were literally sticky after touching it.
We ordered a crepe with cheese, ham, and spinach. When my crepe arrived, there was no spinach in it. I had to go back and ask whether I had ordered the wrong item. Only then did the employee say, “Oh, I’m sorry, we ran out of spinach.” Why was I not informed when I placed the order so I could choose something else? Even worse, we were still charged the full price for the crepe with spinach instead of being charged for the regular version without it.
Then we ordered hot coffee. We specifically said that we wanted it hot. The employee brought us coffee in plastic cups, and the coffee was cold. When I asked if that was supposed to be hot coffee, she said she would remake it.
She came back with the coffee in the same type of plastic cups, and it was still barely warm. It was not even a cappuccino as ordered — it was basically coffee with milk. When I asked how this could be considered hot coffee, she said that it was “a little warm.” If it is actually hot, why is it being served in a plastic cup marked for cold beverages? And if hot coffee is not available, customers should be told that before ordering.
The employee then said, “I’m sorry, it’s my first day.” I understand that someone can be new, but that does not excuse charging customers for items they did not receive, failing to inform customers when ingredients are unavailable, serving the wrong drinks, and providing an unclean, sticky ordering area.
I hope this review remains visible. If it disappears, I will be contacting the appropriate consumer and food-safety authorities to report my concerns and investigate the situation further.
Very disappointing experience. We will not be returning.
