The food was very good . There were 5 tiny cups of BBQ sauce at the bottom of the bag. 2 were open and the bag was soggy with BBQ sauce and fell apart as I was unpacking it. The restaurant should have put them in a small baggy. I love Duke Vity BBQ but they should recorder their packaging.

My partner & I are from the south (NC) and were craving some barbecue, so we decided to give Duke City a try. The prices were affordable, and the serving sizes were good. However, the packaging left to be desired- while it came in an easy paper bag for carrying, the meats were simply wrapped in parchement and loose in the bag. The bottom of the bag had a clear oil mark.
- The loaded baked potato had great flavor and great portion. We got it topped with carolina BBQ- which was on the sweeter side and not as tangy as what we're used to in NC; and quite wet/drippy. The potato was also firmer (not easy to cut through with fork) than I personally like for baked potatoes to be- could've used 10 more minutes in the oven.
Meats:
We chose Brisket, Green Chile Sausage, and Smoked Turkey.
The brisket had good flavor, but its entire parchement was soaked through upon arrival.
The green chile sausage was delicious- a smoky heat and flavor packed. This stood out as my favorite item, despite not being much of a sausage bbq person.
The turkey was perfect, smoky and juicy- and complimented the house bbq well.
Sides:
We went with beans and okra, and got a pint of mac n cheese.
Okra was very good, comes with a side of ranch.
The mac n cheese was very sauscy, a solid mac but a tad bland on its own. Really like the noodle choice.
The beans were good flavor (on the sweet side) but slightly dissapointing as they were chewy and undercooked.
The house BBQ sauce as sweet and zippy, good tang and tasty! It's on the runnier side of BBQ sauces.
Overall, I would likely give Duke City another shot, as the food was tasty, good price, and filled the itch. I think some bread would absorb all the oils and juices of the meats- so I'd suggest trying a sandwhich. Thumbs up!

By far one our favorite family rotations. The Stuffed Potato is what everyone orders and usually my 6'4 husband needs a 2 Meat Combo to feel full after but the Stuffed Potato is plenty for the average. The Mac N Cheese is extra creamy.

I will say the best part of this whole meal was the Fried Okra. Turkey would be next best. The turkey has the most flavor out of everything. The price you pay for 3 Meat Combo is what you get. The Brisket was VERY tender but flavorless, MUST use BBQsauce for the flavor. Presentation is not the best just have the 3 Meat Combo wrapped up in paper and the mac and cheese is good no flavor but creamy. Banana Pudding was disappointing for the price of $5.25 it's a SMALL container with a cinnamon sauce mixed in and drizzled on top of the Banana Pudding I am not a cinnamon fan so this was a disappointing shock. If presentation was a little better and the Banana Pudding was a little bigger i wouldn't be so upset for the price I paid but with all that I have to give a 2 star rating.

Brisket Sandwich is excellent and that's a compliment comIng from someone who's been eating Texas brisket my whole life. Stuffed full of meat and I think bun was toasted so it held up well to sauce.Regular sauce is a bit sweet and smokey so it complimented the beef really well. Potato Salad was good, but next time I'll get the cream corn again. Good sweet tea as well.
