Pork Soup with Hominy (Pozole Rojo) - I grew up with Pozole blanco, 1st time having Red here. I love the large hominy, the pork is tender and fatty perfect and the red broth is tasty not spicy at all. I went in person recently and ordered it there - they had added the oregano to my soup before serving it (not on the side) - oregano is not to my liking and just didn't taste as good. Today I had it delivered - it had the whole pig foot (knuckle, toes and toenails bla - I don't like bones in my soup and I don't like anything that looks like part of the animal - thats pretty traumatizing!) If I would have received my 1st order with the foot - I most likely would never order it again.
The Pork Torta is sooo good, tasty and bread fresh. I have ordered the champurado its a bit thick and list as mexican hot chocolate (Not what we thought). My sister added their tasty Coffee de olla to it and the bumped the drink to the next level and was much better. A visit inside the restaurant is worth it - it is decorated nicely, bright and clean and the staff is friendly.

Cafe has a weird taste. Not like any cafe de olla I've had and the pan dulce tasted a bit stiff and mushy at the same time. I guess I am in OC. Not LA...

The chese tamales looked nothing like the picture and the taste was very bland! Will not be ordering from there again!
