The Ranchero Desoto was awesome!! lots of meat to go with the peppers and onions a very large portion leaving enough for another meal. The only issue I had was with the Sopapillas, where they came with chocolate sauce and sprinkles which I assume was to go on the ice cream that I had them hold due to the health. I basically prefer my Sopapillas with honey only so that was really on me. I ordered the cheese dip because it's awesome and had some regular red dip that is awesome too.

I ordered the steak tacos California (BOGO deal) and was seriously impressed. The flavor was amazing—perfectly seasoned steak, fresh cilantro and onions, and everything tasted really authentic. The tortillas were soft and held everything together well without falling apart. The green sauce added a nice kick, and the lime really brought everything together. The sides were solid too—the rice and beans were flavorful. They even threw in chips and salsa, which was such a nice surprise. For a buy-one-get-one deal, this was alot of food for an incredible value. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

The Ranchero tasted better than the menu photo. The portion was large enough for 2 meals. It came with chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and chips were still hot. I also got the 20 oz Horchata that was perfect. 15 out of 10 star meal. El Jimador is now one of my favorite restaurants. I would order again.

I had a steak Mexican. The piece of meat was large. I want, medium rare. It was a little too rare, but on top of that it had this strong flavor on the meat. It was not a good flavor. I never taste a steak like that before, it was also tough so I threw it away. I didn't even eat it all. I tried to eat it, but I couldn't stand the taste of it. My rice was bland and the Charro beans were not good. So I just gave away $30. I end up making macaroni and cheese.
