Wow! Haven't had El pollo since I was a kid and boy am I glad that they are still around. It's affordable, filling, and for the most part healthy. The birria tacos are surprisingly fire for an "American/Mexican" spot. The churros are out of this world, you have to order them. Chicken could be more moist but nothing some salsa verde can't ameliorate.
Very good food.

Everything was great except the Shredded Chicken Crunchy Tacos were very hard and barely had any meat. Mostly lettuce. I haven't been there in a while because the quality had gone down. I'm glad I returned. Everything else was fresh. I love the salsas. They always make sure you have enough with your meal.

Some of their sides, like their Macaroni & Cheese and Broccoli cost way too much for how little they give you. Also - unless my order was a mistake - they package their tortillas in pairs. So a 5 pack is actually 10 tortillas.

The Chicken and Baja Shrimp Tostada is full of flavor and the perfect amount for lunch at work. They have been consistently delicious. That's cilantro lime dressing is the bonus for this dish.

The leg & thigh chicken were warm on arrival, but unfortunately dry and overly salty. The portion size was generous—good for one person or even to share. The rice was a bit tough, which might be difficult for older folks, especially those with dental concerns. The corn, on the other hand, was flavorful and enjoyable.
Sadly, the flour tortillas were missing from the order, which was disappointing. The churros were a highlight—crispy, sweet, and delicious! The packaging was neat and presentable, and the driver arrived on time, which I appreciated.
This is just my opinion, but I think the restaurant should double-check orders before sending them out. It's important that customers receive everything they paid for, including condiments, utensils, and napkins, which are often forgotten.
