First time ordering. My ala carte order of homemade salsa and chips were amazing... I couldn't stop eating them and had to save my shredded chicken enchilada plate for the next day for lunch, which was a treat.

The Shredded Chicken enchiladas are simply outstanding. I could write a long detailed review, but instead of doing that just order them and you will not be disappointed. The chicken enchiladas have a different sauce than the beef enchiladas and they're less spicy. I recommend getting the side order of flour tortillas because they're nice and chewy. There's enough food to split the your order into dinner and lunch for the next day. Make sure to put a few drops of water into the rice and beans because they'll microwave better if you do. I promise you this, if you order the shredded chicken enchiladas from Elana's Mexican Food you will order from there again. Try to order by 6:00 PM because they do run out if you wait to long.

Shredded Chicken Enchiladas, this is one of my favorite little hidden gems in San Francisco. I was I am a regular here and on taco Tuesdays I like Shredded Chicken Enchiladas and Elena's is some of the best. I really appreciate how they take time to make sure my to go order looks like a plate if I was eating at the restaurant. everything was fresh, everything was still warm when it got to my home excellent quality, and the portion size is perfect, almost enough for two people. and the tortilla chips are freshly fried, and they make their homemade salsa amazing!

Ordered a shrimp burrito with no sour cream. It came with 3 shrimp, 2 cups of rice and refried beans. That was it- nothing else inside. No avocado, pico de gallo, nothing. Just rice, beans and 3 shrimp.... for $22. Also used to give a generous portion of chips and salsa. Now they give a half of a small box and a tiny bit of salsa. I wonder what's going on there?
