Carne Asada was delicious. Meat was perfectly cooked, & chimichuri sauce went with it just right. Spinach with corn salsa and grilled veghies were perfectly done. Only disappointment was that avacado slices weren't as fresh as they should have been. And food was plenty to cover 2 meals.

I was a bit bummed. I always get the fajita salad from the Highland Village Escalante's and this salad from Meyerland is not the same at all. It has mango in it (I hate mango in salad) is pre-chopped ice burg lettuce... Kind of bummed since it's a $20 dollar salad. I recommend the Highland Village version!

Escalante's is absolutely wonderful. All my Tex-Mex favorites done right with care and love. I love the food and the packaging shows how much Escalante's loves their customers. Even the fresh tortilla chips are so delicious you want waste any of them, you'll put them in a zip bag and enjoy them later on!

Mediocre but not bad. Fajitas were tender but pretty bland, veggies were under cooked, and a "medium" meal was about the same meat you'd normally get for a single serving with 4-5x the rice.

Empanaditas were amazing. They had the perfect meat and cheese ratio and the flavors were great. Good o. there own ,but the sauce was a perfect match. My order was hot and they seemed freshly made. They come with a decent portion of chips and salsa which is also a fave!
