Best Falafel I have ever tasted in my whole life. Ordered from somewhere else to see if I had just changed my preferences. Turns out this place knows how to do it correctly, where others fail. The Dolmas are also delicious.

The rice was overcooked and bushy, they added way too much sauce so I was basically eating soup. And they're really skimpy on the meat so it's pretty much just mushy rice lots of sauce and tiny kibbles of meat. The restaurant on Jay Street is way better.

Always enjoyed this spot. This time I ordered the chicken rice bowl deal to have a lunch for today and tomorrow.
I was thinking they will probably go light on the Chicken since it's a deal but dannnngg lol I swear not even 2oz of chicken. I got 4-5 pieces of chicken.. and the rest is just rice which would have been okay if the rice was fresh.
I picked up the order before noon, thinking at least I'll get fresh rice. But first bite i get hardened rice, it's like a mix of fresh and old. Some bites of Fresh separated rice and other clumps of hard rice or rice mush.
Don't even want to look and find the same thing in my other bowl lol

Fries were super soggy we packed inside with a cold soda and got my fries all wet . Not to mention the size was super small I never have gotten something like this from this establishment . My burger was sour and I have the ends of the onion on my burger, which were really tough and still had skin on servers were very rude pointed to my bag and said oh yeah that's your order right there take it no hello no nothing .

Second and probably last time ordering here. First time was a bowl that was about 95% rice and hardly any protein. I tried the Combo Platter* today and it consistently disappointed. The chicken shawarma and beef/lamb gyro meats were dry anf overcooked. The "crisp, fresh vegetables" were soggy lettuce, tomato and onion in water juices totally inedible. Hummus and pita can't really mess those up. Sadly Sacramento food scene really lacks in general.
Baklava is obviously not freshly made.
