The food is always good. Nice portions. Great taste.
I would suggest as a customer who orders through Doordash that the food be put in a better closed or sealed bag. Not just tied on a bag where food could be compromised.
Other than that Famous Dave's food has never failed me., delicious great food.

I've ordered pork wonton nachos several times- each time the amount and quality vary, bit but this time nothing was as it should be: too many wontons and they were very overdone, pork was very dry though the amount was OK. Very little cabbage or onions, and almost no sauce. The first order I got was amazing but since then the nachos have been disappointing in one way or another.

I ordered an entree of burnt ends and an entree of beef brisket. First of all I didn't even get CLOSE to my money's worth of food for either entree. The burnt ends had about 12 small chunks of beef propped up on a thick piece of Texas toast for the optical illusion of APPEARING to be more food; Taste-wise I only taste burnt meat, no smoke, and no seasoning. The beef brisket was also extremely light on the amount of brisket, maybe five slices total yet again propped up on top of a thick piece of Texas toast meant to SEEM visually as a lot of food. NOT! And again the brisket had no smoke flavor, no seasoning, and an awfully bland taste. I would ask that Famous 'Dave's management go to East Troy, WI to see the professionals - LD's BBQ and order the same entrees. LD's gives you WAY MORE than your money's worth, it's delicious and tender, and you can smell the smoke on the outside of the restaurant before you ever reach the doors of the restaurant. I spent over $60 dollars at "Famous Dave's" for an extremely mediocre example of the worst so-called barbecue, I've ever had the displeasure of spitting out of my mouth. Ugh. I wouldn't ever advise anyone with a taste for barbecue to even remotely consider Famous Dave's. I feel like it's a complete rip-off, and waste of time, taste, and money. Who the heck measures portions of so-called barbecue meat to put in a dinner? Oh, I think I may have the answer... (UN or IN) Famous Dave's. In my opinion, less than garbage. Get it together, go back to making food to be proud of for people to eat, instead of having tunnel-vision on the financial mathematics and only maximizing the ability to extract money from the pockets of hungry diners.

Portion sizes for the price were kinda ridiculous, especially given the quality. The burnt ends were mid, barely. the brisket was tough and meh, and rib tips were just awful quality. Fries were okay, ish. The corn muffins were the only part that was good. even the lemonade gallons were junk as the lids apparently don't actually seal and close to a quarter of one of them ended up all over my porch and kitchen floor because I had the audacity to pick it up by the handle. Their BBQ sauce tubs were decently spicy though. Maybe some of their other stuff is actually good, idk, but based on what I got I'm not itching to gamble on finding out🫤
